Dallas Venture Capital
Dallas Venture Capital invests in enterprise software and emerging technology businesses.
Overview
Dallas Venture Capital, or DVC, is a cross-border venture capital firm operating from Dallas, Texas and Hyderabad, India. Dayakar Puskoor founded the firm in 2020, with Abidali Neemuchwala joining as co-founder. DVC invests in technology businesses across the US and India, with a strong concentration in enterprise software, AI, cloud infrastructure, data, cybersecurity and fintech. Its model connects the two markets rather than treating India and the US as separate investment pools.
Investment Focus and Stage
DVC invests from pre-seed through Series C, although its core activity has centred on early-stage and growth-stage enterprise technology. Its portfolio spans B2B SaaS, AI, cloud operations, data infrastructure, cybersecurity, fintech and application software. Recent investments include companies building AI agents, AI inference infrastructure, financial automation and cybersecurity products.
The firm typically invests $2 million to $5 million in a round, with Seed and Series A as its main lead stages. DVC's investment strategy has historically focused on enterprise B2B SaaS and technology businesses that can sell into large global markets.
Fund Size and Portfolio
DVC closed its US Fund II at $80 million in 2022 after exceeding its original $75 million target. It also raised DVC India Fund 1, which had a $50 million target. Together, the two vehicles were designed to deploy about $130 million across US and Indian enterprise B2B SaaS companies.
DVC's current firm records show $121 million in cumulative AUM and 24 investments from its Fund II and India Fund activity since 2021. Across its funds, the firm lists 46 investments. Its portfolio includes Kore.ai, HyperVerge, CoreStack, Fiddler AI, Prophecy, Disprz, Hippo Video, BlueCopa, Simplismart, VuNet and Alkira. Alkira was acquired by Lumen in 2026.
Leadership
Dayakar Puskoor is Founder and Managing Director. He began his career at Motorola, later worked at Microsoft, and founded JP Mobile, a mobile software company that was acquired by Good Technology. His background as an entrepreneur shapes DVC's founder-oriented approach to investing.
Abidali Neemuchwala co-founded DVC and now serves as an IC Member and Strategic Advisor. He previously served as CEO and Managing Director of Wipro and brings experience from large-scale technology and corporate leadership.
DVC also operates DVC Advantage, a portfolio support program covering areas such as go-to-market strategy, senior hiring and customer introductions. The firm positions this work around helping founders move from early traction toward larger enterprise businesses.
