IPO Readiness
Most companies are not ready when they think they are. That is worth knowing early.
Book a readiness reviewAn IPO runs on preparation. Every stage has requirements that have to be met properly, and a company that arrives at the process with gaps in its financials, its governance or its systems will find those gaps surfacing at the worst possible moment.
IPO readiness is simply the state a company needs to reach before it can credibly go to market. We assess where you are against that standard across financial performance, governance, systems and market position and set out what remains to be done.
We would rather give you an uncomfortable answer now than an expensive one later. The structured approach exists for exactly that reason: to take the uncertainty out of the process early, while there is still time to act on it.
What readiness actually looks like
Financial performance
Two to three years of consistent revenue growth, profitability and positive cash flow, backed by audited financial statements. This is the foundation everything else sits on, and it is the hardest thing to fix quickly.
Legal and regulatory compliance
The company needs to be compliant with the laws, regulations and reporting requirements that apply to it, including the securities regulations governing public companies. In practice this means a proper review of corporate records, contracts and past filings usually earlier than promoters expect.
Operational scalability
Your systems, technology and people need to be able to handle growth without breaking. Investors look closely at this, because a business that cannot scale its operations cannot deliver on the projections it puts in front of them.
Financial planning and forecasting
You need a well-reasoned view of what comes next revenue projections, cost management, capital expenditure plans. Projections are not a formality. They are how investors judge whether your equity story holds together.
Management and leadership
Running a good business and running a listed company are related but different jobs. The team needs to be capable of both: executing the strategy, and carrying the disclosure, governance and scrutiny that come with being public.
Preparation is what puts the right people and resources in place before you need them. Companies that do this properly find the listing process demanding but manageable. Companies that skip it usually find out why it mattered.
