Enzia Ventures

Enzia Ventures backs early-stage companies across healthcare, education and environmental solutions.

Overview

Enzia Ventures is a Bengaluru-based early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2019. The firm focuses on three areas: healthcare, education and environment. It backs businesses using technology to address fundamental needs, with an emphasis on companies that can create both commercial value and measurable social impact.

Enzia's sector-focused approach is built around deep expertise rather than a broad, sector-agnostic mandate. The firm works with founders building products and services for large markets, particularly where access, affordability or sustainability remains a challenge.

Investment Focus and Stage

Enzia invests primarily at the pre-seed and seed stages, with initial cheques generally ranging from $250,000 to $1.5 million. Its three core investment areas are healthcare, education and environment.

In healthcare, the firm looks across digital health, healthtech, medtech and healthcare delivery. Its education focus includes learning, employability and technology that expands access to quality education. In environment, Enzia invests in businesses working on renewable energy, resource efficiency, sustainable agriculture and other climate-related challenges.

The firm prefers founders solving large, fundamental problems and works closely with companies from the early stages of product development through growth.

Fund Size and Portfolio

Enzia Ventures launched a $40 million fund in 2021. The firm has invested across more than 14 companies, with its portfolio including Proactive For Her, Morphle Labs, iMumz, Numen Health, ZenOnco.io, CuriousJr, Kafqa Academy and Leap.club.

Proactive For Her focuses on women's healthcare, while Morphle Labs develops technology for pathology and medical diagnostics. iMumz operates in maternal and child healthcare, and ZenOnco.io provides technology-enabled support for cancer patients.

The firm's education portfolio includes CuriousJr and Kafqa Academy, while its environment investments include companies working across clean energy and sustainable agriculture.
