Indian Silicon Valley Capital

Indian Silicon Valley Capital backs Indian founders at Pre-Seed and Seed stages.

Overview

Indian Silicon Valley Capital is an early-stage investment firm based in Gurugram, investing across India. Founded around the Indian Silicon Valley founder and operator network, the firm backs companies at the Pre-Seed and Seed stages.

Its approach is sector-agnostic, with investments spanning consumer businesses, software, fintech, climate technology, AI, deeptech and B2B companies. The firm positions itself as an early partner to founders, combining capital with access to a network of entrepreneurs and operators.

Investment Focus and Stage

Indian Silicon Valley Capital focuses primarily on Pre-Seed and Seed investments, where the firm can work closely with founders before a business has developed significant scale.

Rather than restricting itself to a single industry, the firm looks across consumer, software, fintech, climate, AI, deeptech and B2B opportunities. Its portfolio reflects this broad approach, ranging from consumer brands and financial products to enterprise software, climate technology and advanced technology businesses.

The firm's model is built around more than capital. Its network of founders and operators can support portfolio companies with hiring, introductions, market insight and fundraising. This operator-backed approach is connected to the Indian Silicon Valley podcast network, which has built relationships with founders and startup leaders across India.

Fund Size and Portfolio

The current investment vehicle's fund size is not presented as a headline figure on the firm's current website, so the older $2 million current fund and $5 million total fund figures are not used here.

The portfolio has expanded considerably beyond the 30 companies listed in older directory records. The firm's current portfolio includes FibMold, Stable Money, Oolka, BiteSpeed, SkinInspired, Alt Carbon, Asaya, Rocket, CAVA Athleisure, The Pant Project, Sumosave Retail, GobbleCube, Atica, CareFi, Rapid Claims, Metaforms, Hectar, Kenko AI, MiniMines, Climitra, Zivy, Arch0, Puch AI, Intract, PhotAI, Anomaly Bio, House of X, One Impression and many others.

The portfolio covers investments from Pre-Seed through Seed, with selected companies progressing into later rounds. Stable Money, FibMold and Oolka are among the better-known companies from its earlier portfolio, while newer investments show the firm's expanding interest in climate, AI, deeptech and consumer technology.

Leadership

Jivraj Singh Sachar is the Founder and General Partner of Indian Silicon Valley Capital. He built the Indian Silicon Valley podcast before expanding the platform into venture investing, creating a network of founders, operators and investors that now feeds into the firm's investment activity.

Sachar's approach combines investing with content and community building. His background in the startup ecosystem has helped ISV Capital develop a founder network that extends beyond individual investment rounds.

The firm's investment model is closely tied to this network, with experienced founders and operators participating alongside the fund and contributing market knowledge, introductions and practical support to portfolio companies.
