Overview

Founded in 2011, IvyCap Ventures is a Mumbai-headquartered venture capital firm with offices in Delhi, Bengaluru, the US and Singapore. The firm is sector agnostic and invests in early to growth-stage startups across HealthTech, ConsumerTech, DeepTech, FinTech, EdTech, SaaS, Enterprise Tech, AgriTech and EVs. A defining part of IvyCap's model is its connection with IIT, IIM and other leading educational institutions, bringing founders access to alumni networks, industry expertise and institutional relationships.

Investment Focus and Stage

IvyCap invests from Seed and Pre-Series A through Series A and Series B. Its focus is on founding teams with strong professional and academic backgrounds, differentiated business models and the potential to build scalable technology-led businesses.

Within DeepTech, the firm's interests include SaaS, AI/ML, semiconductors, cybersecurity and IoT. Its broader portfolio also spans consumer brands, healthcare, fintech, education, logistics, agritech and emerging technologies. IvyCap combines capital with founder support, industry connections and its network of alumni experts to help companies move from early product development toward larger markets.

Fund Size and Portfolio

IvyCap currently manages more than $650 million in assets and has backed 65+ companies. Its third fund, launched in 2024, forms part of a platform that has raised successive funds since Fund I in 2013 and Fund II in 2018.

Its current portfolio includes Purplle, BlueStone, Miko, Snitch, Dhruva Space, Rusk Media, Celcius Logistics, Eggoz, GradRight, Agraga, Datoms, TurboHire, Convosight, Spector.AI, Daxa AI, Beatoven.ai, Botsync, GreenStitch, CraftifAI, Lissun, FlexifyMe and Deep Rooted.

Recent investments also reflect IvyCap's growing interest in enterprise AI and deep technology. Its portfolio includes Adya, an enterprise AI company, and CraftifAI, which develops AI infrastructure for embedded and edge environments. IvyCap has also backed HyugaLife, which raised a ₹100 crore Series A led by the firm.

Leadership

Vikram Gupta is Founder and Managing Partner of IvyCap Ventures. He has more than two decades of experience across venture capital, private equity, consulting and healthcare. Before founding IvyCap, he was part of the team that established a Piramal-sponsored healthcare-focused private equity fund.

Ashish Wadhwani is Co-Founder and Managing Partner, bringing more than 25 years of experience across venture capital, M&A and strategy consulting. He has led investments exceeding $750 million and has worked across technology, energy, consumer and manufacturing.

Sonia Sharma Gupta is Co-Founder and Head of Investor Relations, while Anju Gupta is a Partner who leads the IvyCamp platform and works closely with educational institutions and alumni networks.

Under Vikram Gupta, IvyCap also pioneered an endowment fund at IIT Delhi in 2019, connecting its investment platform with a broader effort to support entrepreneurship and innovation within India's academic institutions.
