Zeropearl VC

Zeropearl VC backs Indian founders at pre-seed and seed stages across sectors.

Overview

Zeropearl VC is an India-focused early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2024 by Bipin Shah. The firm takes a founder-first, sector-agnostic approach and backs companies at the earliest stages of development. Its portfolio spans consumer businesses, D2C brands and technology-led companies.

Investment Focus and Stage

Zeropearl focuses primarily on Pre-Seed and Seed investments, with typical cheques ranging from $100,000 to $1 million. The firm often acts as an early institutional investor, backing founders when their businesses are still establishing product-market fit.

Its investment interests include consumer, B2C, D2C and AI-led businesses, alongside SaaS and other technology opportunities. Beyond capital, Zeropearl works closely with founders on strategy, growth, hiring, fundraising and building relationships with later-stage investors.

The firm also emphasizes a quick decision-making process, allowing founders to move from initial discussions to funding without a lengthy investment cycle.

Fund Size and Portfolio

Zeropearl closed its maiden fund at ₹159 crore, or roughly $18 million, exceeding its original ₹80 crore target. The fund is structured to build a portfolio of around 45 startups through early-stage investments.

Its portfolio includes Gully Labs, Supply6, Frex, P-TAL, OZi, Boba Bhai, Zanskar Health, Cura Care, Tryo, Catalogus, Onya Diamonds, LiLLBUD and Affluense AI.

Some portfolio companies have progressed into subsequent institutional rounds. Zeropearl initially backed Supply6 at the seed stage and later participated in its ₹48 crore Series A led by Unilever Ventures. Gully Labs has similarly progressed from an early Zeropearl investment to a later institutional round.

Leadership

Bipin Shah is Founder and Managing Partner of Zeropearl VC. Before launching Zeropearl, he was a Partner at Titan Capital, where he invested in and worked with early-stage companies across consumer and technology categories.

His earlier investment track record includes Mamaearth, Credgenics, InVideo, Giva and CityMall, along with companies such as Beardo, Oziva and SuprDaily.

Zeropearl's investment network also includes experienced founders and operators who contribute industry knowledge, relationships and practical support to portfolio companies.
