July Ventures

July Ventures backs scalable B2B and digital platform companies across India's growth economy.

Overview

July Ventures is a Bengaluru-based asset management and venture capital firm focused on B2B, enterprise and digital-platform businesses. Its investment strategy has evolved from early-stage venture investing toward a broader platform covering early growth, growth capital and transaction support. Finance, supply chain and logistics, healthcare, and clean and green businesses are among its preferred areas.

Investment Focus and Stage

July Ventures invests in technology-enabled businesses that have moved beyond the idea stage and demonstrated recurring revenues, product-market fit and a scalable business model. The firm prefers asset-light, digitally native companies serving B2B or B2B2C markets, particularly businesses that can build from India for global markets.

Its initial investments average around ₹15 crore, with capital reserved for follow-on rounds. The firm also looks for founding teams with complementary skills and meaningful founder ownership. Its sector preferences include fintech, supply-chain and logistics, healthcare, education, agriculture and sustainability.

Fund Size and Portfolio

July Ventures operates three investment vehicles. July Ventures Fund, its Category I early-stage vehicle, was the firm's first fund and focused on early-stage B2B and digital-platform companies. The fund is now closed to new investments.

Its second vehicle, July Ventures Growth Fund, is a Category II fund launched for more mature companies with proven product-market fit, strong fundamentals and a path toward profitable growth. The firm's third vehicle, July Ventures GIFT City Fund, is a Category II fund established through its GIFT City IFSC platform, extending the firm's investment structure for globally oriented businesses.

The firm's current portfolio page features 11 companies across Seed to Pre-Series C. These include Borderless, MatchLog, CareFi, Crest, MoneyClub, LoanTap, Stockal, ACRU, myPAL, Edufin and Agraga. Borderless operates in cross-border financial services, MatchLog focuses on container reuse and logistics, while CareFi works across healthcare financing and technology.

July also works with portfolio companies after the initial investment, supporting follow-on fundraising, strategic partnerships, M&A and exit planning.

Leadership

July Ventures is led by a group of partners with backgrounds spanning entrepreneurship, technology, investing and corporate turnarounds. Amitabh Shrivastava, M.V. Subramanian, Ravindra Krishnappa and Suresh T.R. are among the firm's senior investment leaders.

The team combines investing experience with operating backgrounds, which shapes July's hands-on approach to portfolio companies. Rather than limiting its role to financing, the firm works alongside founders on areas such as technology, finance, partnerships, strategy and subsequent fundraising.
