Pravega Ventures

Pravega Ventures backs Indian technology startups across fintech, enterprise software, artificial intelligence, deep tech, and financial services.

Overview

Pravega Ventures is an India-focused venture capital firm that partners with founders building technology-driven businesses. Its investment philosophy centres on patient capital, transparent partnerships, and long-term value creation. Beyond funding, the firm supports entrepreneurs through strategic advisory, access to industry networks, and preparation for future fundraising.

Investment Focus and Stage

Pravega Ventures invests across Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A, and Series B stages, with reported cheque sizes ranging from $1 million to $5 million. Its investment interests include fintech, artificial intelligence and machine learning, deep tech and hard science, enterprise software, and technology-enabled financial services.

The firm looks for founders using technology to solve complex business problems and build scalable products. Its support extends beyond capital to strategic decisions, product development, hiring, go-to-market planning, and connections with experienced entrepreneurs and industry specialists. The firm places particular emphasis on long-term partnerships rather than short-term valuation gains.

Fund Size and Portfolio

Pravega Ventures' official website lists 28 investments. British International Investment (BII), the UK's development finance institution, committed $10 million to Pravega Ventures Fund II in September 2022.
